Robert Lewandowski scored twice to lead Bayern Munich champions Bayern Munich to a 3-1 victory at Freiburg today to become the first Polish foreign player to score 33 goals in one season.
Joshua Kimmich gave the home side a well-deserved lead after a pass from Lewandowski in the 15th minute. Levandowski continued Lyon Goritska's rebound from goalkeeper Alexander Shvovov in the 24th minute before adding Bayern's third goal after a pass from Luka Hernandez at the end of the first half.
Bayern have 79 points, 10 ahead of Borussia Dortmund.
In turn, the Norwegian striker Erling Halland scored two goals to lead Borussia Dortmund to a 2-0 victory over its host Razen Palsport Leipzig and clinched second place in the German first division today.
Dortmund raised its score to 69 points, six points ahead of Leipzig before the clashes of the last round next Saturday.
