The Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club is awaiting reply and clarification from state authorities following a directive yesterday evening stating that - team manager Yoav Ziv and three other players must enter isolation by 11.7 after being in close proximity to a Corona patient.

According to the epidemiologic test, the four were in the vicinity of the patient on 27.6 between 18:00 and 19:00 at the hotel where the whole team was preparing for the derby game. A check with the hotel was told to the club that no employee from the hotel was asked to enter the isolation.

According to the Health Ministry's announcement of the location of verified patients, Corona patient was staying at a nearby beach and hotel (to which the entire group was staying) and it is therefore likely that the telephones of Tel Aviv's cell phones were improperly prepared. The feeding is wrong and the four are not required in isolation.
