Loïc Mbe Soh should leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. One year from the end of his contract in June 2021, the 19-year-old central defender no longer has any real prospects within his training club, after having started with professionals in May 2019.

Used only once this season by Thomas Tuchel - he had played back right during the defeat against Reims at the Parc des Princes (0-2) - Mbe Soh knows that he has very little chance of reversing the trend during next fiscal year. Paris already has four central defenders (Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Kehrer and Diallo), and it is not said that Leonardo does not look into recruiting a fifth axial if an opportunity arises.

The horizon is therefore blocked for the native of Souza Gare in Cameroon who does not wish to extend his contract with Paris. The latter therefore checked the start box in agreement with the sports management of PSG. The latter will not take the risk of seeing him go free in a year and hopes to withdraw at least 5 million euros from a sale of his international U19 (4 selections, 1 goal).

Interested foreign clubs

Last summer, Paris had sold Stanley Nsoki, a similar profile, to Nice for 12.5 million euros but it was before the coronavirus and the drop in revenue that affected European clubs. This time it is Bordeaux, another Ligue 1 club, which is sensitive to the profile of Mbe Soh.

But the vagueness that currently reigns in Gironde - Paulo Sousa the coach and Eduardo Macia, the sports director are among others on the start - does not push for an immediate recruitment. Foreign clubs whose names have not yet filtered are also interested.

Faced with a deficit in playing time even if he evolves regularly with the U19 of PSG, Loïc Mbe Soh had already been close to leaving the club of the capital last winter. His loan to Sochaux had finally collapsed at the very end of January, Maxence Lacroix, the young defender of the Lion cubs, remaining finally in the Doubs. This time, Mbe Soh hopes to materialize his departure, but as part of a dry transfer.
