The study places the attacker in the top 3 of players whose transfer value would increase the most.
Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona), whose contract value would amount to 43 and 35 million euros respectively, complete this podium. The rating of the English would therefore be around 222 million euros and 115 million euros for the sixfold Ballon d'or. Age, loan status, performance, contract duration… the CIES algorithm takes into account a multitude of data in order to establish these figures.
In early June, a study by the same observatory placed Kylian Mbappé at the top of the 100 players whose transfer value was the highest, with 259.2 million euros.
