Raymond Atwald, the Dutch coach of Betar Tel Aviv / Bat Yam, last night agreed in principle to join as the new coach of Maccabi Netanya, and will transfer his debut training on Sunday.
The person who is expected to be appointed as Atwald's assistant is the former player of the team, Israel Zaviti. Atwald, 53, previously coached Cypriot Limassol and also worked at the Pink Hague
The team's two current coaches, Slobodan Drapic and Shai Barda, are still signed to the team, and their lawyer, Roi Daniel, is negotiating with the management regarding the compensation they will receive for allowing their contract.
