"Ural Degani has taken out the desire to stay at Hapoel Tel Aviv," says a source close to the Reds' captain. "In the coming days, Ural will make a decision, but he may agree to move to Betar. He no longer rules it out. " 

Where are things at the moment? Degani made it clear to the club's leaders that he wants to stay and is willing to cut his salary if they offer him a long-term contract, but the management is not interested in discussing a cut with him in exchange for a new contract. Hapoel claim that they are willing to go down in the demands of the cut that the player was asked to make to the contract for the next two years. If the situation continues, Degani may leave Hapoel and then sue the team for unpaid wages in June.  

The brake's priority is known to be to go abroad, when, as we first reported in "Israel Today", rumors were made about it by Famagusta and Omonia Nicosia, but it is precisely Betar Jerusalem that has raised the bar. Moshe Hogg's team raised their offer to brake financially and the player's entourage as stated claim that he is now positively considering the move to the capital, which did not take place three weeks ago.

The person who was marked as Degani's replacement, in case he leaves, is Atromitos' Israeli stopper, Tal Kahila, who is expected to return to Israel and the team has already sent him messages that he wants to join him in the near future, but Kahila may choose another destination. 

Kahila, 28, is also in high demand at Hapoel Hadera, which is making efforts to sign him, and Bnei Yehuda and Maccabi Netanya have approached him, so although he would like to give priority to the Reds, he may eventually choose one of the other teams interested in absorbing him.
