The fiftieth anniversary of PSG is the perfect opportunity to return to the small and large stories that have marked the eventful life of the Parisian club.
1. Historical debate
Historians are frantic on the date of creation of the club born from the merger between the Stade Saint-Germanois and Paris FC. August 12, 1970 was finally adopted.
2. Cradle
In 2014, the Qataris changed the logo by erasing the cradle under the Eiffel Tower, part of the coat of arms of the city of Saint-Germain-en-Laye with the fleur-de-lis, kept by the club.
3. Closed counters
Record attendance at the Parc des Prince for a PSG match: 49,575 spectators in 1983 against the Belgians of Waterschei.
4. The symbolic million
Bringing € 1 million each to buy the club in 2006, Francis Graille and Alain Cayzac are supported by a mysterious investor ready to invest ten, but who ultimately withdraws.
5. Sharing
Between 1984 and 1990, PSG shared the Parc des Princes with RC Paris de Lagardère.
