Tragedy in the United States: Andre Spencer, one of the best foreigners to play in the Premier League in the early 1990s, passed away tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday) at the age of only 56.
Spencer reportedly suffered a heart attack while coaching a group of children and died shortly afterwards at a local hospital.
Spencer starred in Maccabi Rishon Lezion's big team with Eugene Banks, Miki Berkovich and Moti Aroasti. Among other things, he also played for Hapoel Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Hapoel Afula.
