Dutch driver Max Verstappen (Red Bull) today won the 70th Anniversary Prize in the Formula 1 World Championship.
Sky Sports reported that Verstappen succeeded in resolving the race that was held at the British Silverstone Circuit to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Formula 1 in 1950 in the same circuit in his favor to break the winning streak of the Mercedes team, surpassing the British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, who finished second while the Finn came Valtteri Bottas, the other Mercedes driver, is third.
Verstappen is the first Red Bull driver to win the F1 World Championship at Silverstone since 2012.
