As first reported in "Israel Today", Adam Ariel has signed with Hapoel Jerusalem and will be the Reds' first Israeli acquisition of the 2020/21 season.

Ariel (25, 1.95 m), a graduate of the team's youth department, played for Hapoel in 2012-15 and won the team's first and historic championship. In the last two seasons he played for Maccabi Rishon LeZion and as mentioned, next season he will wear the red uniform again.

Team coach Oded Katash commented on the signing: "This man's natural place is here, and I am very happy that he is returning home. At the professional level, beyond excellent shooting, Adam brings with him a lot of determination, fighting spirit and as we unfortunately experienced in the last Final Four, very high ability with money on the table "I'm sure he's going to be an important part of our puzzle for next season."

Adam: "To say that I am very happy to return to Hapoel will be an understatement. I am returning home! Hapoel is where I grew up and the club I have been a fan of since I was a child. I am convinced that the experience I have gained in recent years will help me take the team as far as possible. "And even more so for times when I can unite with our fans on the field. Come on, Hapoel."
