Comments after Maccabi Haifa's victory over Kiryat Shmona (Maccabi Haifa spokeswoman)

Maccabi Haifa turned to Hapoel Tel Aviv today (Tuesday) through attorney Ofer Ben Asa and demanded that they immediately transfer 50 percent of the sale of Uriel Degani to Betar Jerusalem. Haifa claims that when Degani moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the summer of 2016, it was agreed that from any future sale, the team would be entitled to half of the transfer fee. She is now demanding to get her share of the deal.

Negotiations between Betar and Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Degani deal were lengthy and complicated. At first, the team from the capital insisted that it not pay a transfer fee for the brake but transfer players to the Reds, but eventually Degani signed for three years without other players as part of the deal.

Also at Maccabi Haifa: It is possible that Barak Bachar will give Jordan Shoa a place in the squad for the game against Bnei Sakhnin (Wednesday, 20:00, Sport 5 Live). Yahav Gurfinkel, Charon Sheri and Rami Gershon are also in the lineup, but at this stage it is not clear which of the three will open and get minutes from the start. Haifa continues to engage in attempts to seal a foreign brake as well as a field center contact. Haifa has been offered quite a few players in recent days, but at this stage the club is still not in the final stages with one of them.
