Wednesday, 12 August 2020, 11:13Russian MMA fighter Roman Bogutov will prefer to forget his debut fight in the UFC. Many fans of the industry waited for the moment when Bogtov, who held a 0:10 balance until the first fight, would enter the world-famous Octagon, and the hype around him was in the sky. But already in the first round of his fight against Brazilian Leonard Santos, it seemed that this was not it.
Already in the first round, Bogtov received a remark from the referee, after putting his finger in his opponent's eye. He spent most of the second round on the mat with the Brazilian on top of him and in the third round he sent Santos two illegal punches to the loins, for which two points fell off his balance sheet. In the end, he lost for the first time in his career and went down to a 10: 1 balance, but it turns out that this is not the worst part for the Russian.
Immediately after the fight, a picture of one of his coaches started appearing on social media. The photo shows a Nazi tattoo on the elbow of Bogtov's cornerback, Alexei Caesar. It is a large tattoo of the "Black Sun", a symbol created by the Nazis during World War II and now used by neo-Nazis around the world.

Following this, many on social media criticized the Russian and his cornermen and claimed to be antisemitic. "Tattooing has a different meaning for me as a celeb," Caesar defended. "You will not find even one colored person who has been harmed by me," he said and also received criticism for his reaction.
In any case, the UFC decided not to accept his remarks and announced in a rather rare move the release of the Russian fighter, after having fought only one fight in the organization.
