The BSG Markt Schwaben competed in the test match against TSV Bergkirchen II, severely weakened. Trainer Harreiner had to do it himself and became a hero.
Markt Schwaben - With only twelve players, including coach Florian Harreiner himself, the BSG Markt Schwaben played their latest test match at TSV Bergkirchen II. The hosts, actually C-Classics, increasingly competed with some players from the regional class team and challenged the Markt Schwabener accordingly .
"We sold well," summarized Harreiner, who played six in the first half and guarded the goal after the break. If Bergkirchen's opening goal was "rather stupid", the equalizer (44th) via the BSG player-coach, Markus Bielmeier and goalscorer Korbinin Stern was "nicely combined". While the hosts exhausted their personal possibilities and brought fresh strength, the Markt Schwabener bit their teeth and "demonstrated great morals". Sascha Fähnle converted a penalty taken by Bielmeier to make it 2-1 for the BSG (49th). The fact that Bergkirchen did not get more than 2-2 (72nd) was due to a bravely defending opponent who could rely on his defense around Manuel Götz - and on keeper Harreiner, who saved a penalty. In conclusion, however, confessed that "it was shot really badly." (hw )
