Dorfen - At the sprint jump meeting in Bad Kötzting, Emilia Kurz, Svea Schütte and Vincent Bachmayr made it onto the podium seven times. Despite temperatures around 30 degrees, the young sprinters from TSV Dorfen achieved impressive times.

It was the third competition in eleven days for Bachmayr and Schütte. Although both athletes had already sprinted over the 80-meter hurdles so quickly at the evening sports festival in Pfaffenhofen / Ilm and at the Munich Challenge Meeting in Munich's Dante Stadium that they wanted to qualify for participation in the Bavarian championships in September in Bad Kötzting in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham, above all, they once again improve their mileage.

The decisive goal for Bachmayr was to break his personal record of 12 seconds over 80 meter hurdles. And the 15-year-old succeeded brilliantly on the sunlit school sports field in Bad Kötzting: The sprinter crossed the finish line in 11.86 seconds, just a nose length behind, in second place. The man from Dorfen also ensured an exciting race in the 100-meter run: with 12.36 seconds, he set the third fastest time in the M15 age group. This means that he was only six hundredths of a second short of being able to start in the Bavarian championship in this discipline . However: there could be enough time to qualify for the B qualification.

Her first win of the season went to Schütte, who, like her club colleagues, started in Bad Kötzting in the LAG Mittlere Isar jersey: Despite a strong headwind, she was only just behind her best time and secured gold over 80 with 13.21 seconds in the W 14 Meter hurdles. The young athlete, on the other hand, was able to improve in the 100-meter sprint, in which she crossed the finish line in 13.78 seconds in third place and ran so fast that she could possibly go into the 100-meter race as a B-qualified at the Bavarian Championships .

Emilia Kurz is still too young for the competitions on the Bavarian level, which will take place in four weeks at the Sepp-Brenninger Stadium in Erding. After her three gold placements at the evening sports festival in Pfaffenhofen / Ilm, the eleven-year-old also demonstrated in the Upper Palatinate that she is a champion in victory. Although the versatile track and field athlete was hard hit by the midsummer weather, she was undisputedly the best in the long jump in the W12 age group with 4.21 meters.

The Dorfenerin was also unbeatable over 60 meter hurdles: Although Kurz could not match her top time that she ran in Pfaffenhofen (10:29 sec), she still achieved in 10:45 sec with a lead of almost one meter the goal first. The sprinter only had to be satisfied with second place in the 75-meter run: With 11.21 seconds, she was only four hundredths short of the win by BEATE SPINDLER
