The whistle kicked off at 2 p.m. in blazing heat, and then FC Finsing only had eleven players because the rest were either on vacation or were assigned to work on building the stands. “But the eleven guys played a great game,” praised department head Thomas Gasda. Manuel Fuchs was the match winner with his two goals. He scored the first time in the middle of the first half, and shortly before the end he struck again after the Finsinger intercepted a ball in midfield and countered it with lightning speed via Bene Obermaier and Fuchs. Except for one chance, which Finsings keeper, youngster Niklas Desiderato, defused, the hosts had no chance. The two central defenders Stefan Gasda and Dominik Blume simply did not allow more. Fabian Kövener skillfully pulled the strings in midfield. However, he missed a penalty. Gasda was also impressed by the strong debut of A-youth kickers Leon Englhard, Lucas Bertsch and keeper Desiderato.

"That was an entertaining game in very hot weather," said Schwaig's press spokesman Rainer Hellinger, who was able to cheer for the first time in the third minute. Tarek Reiche only had to push a ball blocked by the guest keeper over the line. One-way street football followed with a multitude of lost opportunities. In the 27th minute, player-coach Ben Held picked up a pass from the depths and skilfully lobbed the goalkeeper to make it 2-0 for the district division. Maxi Buchauer's goal to make it 3-0 was also played out nicely. But then Wartenberg's player-coach Jakob Taffertshofer also showed his class when he hit the short corner from an acute angle for the district league team. Reiche restored the old distance with a penalty kick. Schwaig changed seven players in the second half. "Wartenberg came into play better then," reported Hellinger.
