TSV Peiting followed suit with a preparation game at home against TSV Utting last Saturday. Despite the long time without football games, the Peitinger team was in a good mood against the sovereign leader in district class 4. The team of coach Fabian Melzer clearly defeated the district league candidate 6-0 (4-0).

Melzer: "The performance was quite okay"

“The performance was okay. We clearly dominated the game, ”said Melzer after the ghost game. Except for a few stewards and officials, there were no spectators in the stadium. Even onlookers - as in some other places - could not be made out in Peiting. This was also due to the fact that the field is difficult to see from outside. “It was definitely nice to play again after five months,” said Melzer. “The boys are fit, they stepped on the gas, but after 60 minutes the heat came up.” The thermometer showed more than 30 degrees.

TSV Peiting made the victory clear in the first half

The Peitinger also needed a few minutes to find their way into the game. It was only after half an hour that Andreas Stadler brought the hosts in front. Shortly before the break, things happened in quick succession: Matthias Lotter (39th, 45th) with a brace and in between an own goal by the guests (42nd), who were not in the best cast, gave the Peitingers a 4-0 half-time lead. Nicola Haser (51.) scored the fifth goal after the change. After that, the game rippled over long stretches before Christoph Enzmann (88th) made half a dozen in the final phase.
