German Leipzig beat Atletico Madrid, Spain, with two goals to one in the match that brought them together today in the quarter-finals of the European Champions League in football.
Leipzig opened the scoring in the 50th minute through his Spanish player Danny Olmo, but the Portuguese Joao Felix adjusted the score for Atletico with a penalty kick in the 71st minute of the match, and American Tyler Addams returned the lead for Leipzig by scoring the second goal for his team two minutes before the end of the original game time.
In the semi-finals, Leipzig will face the French team Paris Saint-Germain, who yesterday beat Atlanta, Italy, with two goals.
