The Merkur CUP had to be canceled this year due to Corona. However, two girls' teams from the district received good news from FC Bayern Munich.
District – Even without the games on the pitch, which have not been able to take place due to the corona (but should be made up), the Merkur CUP has positive things to offer. The soccer girls can look forward to a great gift.
The end of July was the application deadline for those Merkur CUP girls' teams who wanted to get one of the 20 surprise packages offered by the FC Bayern women. Each package contained FCB women's training clothing from the past season in sizes XS to L, i.e. t-shirts, shorts, training jackets and socks. Training bibs completed the surprise package from the Merkur CUP partner.
Nicole Rolser, patron of the girls in the Merkur CUP and ex-professional at FC Bayern Frauen, had her hands full packing the packages and sending them on the trip to the clubs.
In the district of Erding, this affects FC Moosinning and FC Lengdorf, who, as they had for many years, had sent a girls' team into the race. From now on the juniors are training in red.
