SpVgg Unterhaching has a new strong man on the sidelines. Arie Van Lent takes over from the new sporting director Claus Schromm.
COMMENT
There was again a lot of talk about philosophy at SpVgg Unterhaching. The new trainer Arie van Lent thinks that he fits in well with the SpVgg Unterhaching philosophy. And club boss Manfred Schwabl and sporting director Claus Schromm, van Lent's predecessor at the Hachinger coaching bench, also find that van Lent's philosophy coincides with that of the Hachinger team.
SpVgg Unterhaching continues to rely on attractive football
Which should mean nothing else than that Haching wants to continue to rely on attractive football that should be fun for the players and bring joy to the fans. And above all that in the Hachingen third division team, many players trained in the club's own youth performance center should be used.
Arie Van Lent: "We don't want to die in beauty"
Van Lent and Haching - that can fit. At least on the beer bench, Schwabl, Schromm, van Lent and the two assistant coaches Robert Lechleiter and Roman Tyce gave the impression that they already got along very well.
But what matters is on the pitch. And here van Lent sees his task quite pragamatically: “We don't want to die in beauty.” It is clear to him that in Haching, too, success comes first. Philosophy or not.
