Maccabi Tel Aviv announced today (Thursday) that guard Idan Alber will return to the squad after two years of loan to Hapoel Kfar Saba from the national league and Urbani Ness Ziona from the Premier League. The young guard (20, 1.93m) is set to join the team's league games as he joins the back line that includes John Dibertolomeo, Scotty Wilbkin, Chris Jones and Tyler Dorsey.

"I'm happy to be back home to the club I started playing at from the age of 5 and that for years I would come to games with the family as a subscriber at Gate 3," Albert said. "It's a dream come true. I'm ready for the challenge, looking forward to getting on the pitch and playing for the club and the fans."

"Idan Alber is another Israeli player we believe in," coach Yannis Sapropoulos told the official website. "He has been part of the Maccabi family because he has been in the club since the age of 5. I am glad we signed him. He is a player who grew up in Maccabi and will return and will have the opportunities to help the team and be part of our successful development program."
