PSG supporters in Marseille will have to keep a low profile. The Bouches-du-Rhône police prefect signed an order banning the wearing of the Parisian jersey in the city center on Sunday on the occasion of the Champions League final between the capital club and Bayern Munich on Sunday evening (9 pm), learned this Thursday Le Parisien from the prefecture.

The text even prohibits "displaying the colors of PSG", a formulation which can thus relate to a simple scarf. A decision taken to "prevent any disturbance of public order" even if "no information has come to confirm any mobilization planned for the final", explains the police headquarters. The decree also prohibits the possession and use of "pyrotechnic devices" in Marseille on Sunday.

Incidents after the semi-final against Leipzig

This decree comes after a tense Tuesday evening in Marseille, in particular around the Old Port, during the semi-final between PSG and Leipzig, won by Paris (3-0). A hundred supporters of OM gathered in the evening, chanted songs hostile to the Parisian club and detonated firecrackers.

According to several witnesses, the group also took to task PSG fans or people they believed to be supporters of the Parisian club. One person was forced to remove his PSG jersey. A man was also arrested for attacking someone wearing this outfit, according to La Provence. At least two establishments around the Old Port were forced to stop broadcasting the match under pressure from several dozen people.
