The outsiders
The outsiders are numerous. Mauro Icardi, author of a mixed first season in Ligue 1, should undoubtedly shake the nets repeatedly given his sense of goal. He will still have to keep the confidence of Thomas Tuchel in order to have a significant playing time. Neymar, thanks to his inherent talent, and if he achieves a full season without injury, should also score many goals. He might not be very far from the favorites. At the Olympique de Marseille, Dario Benedetto and Florian Thauvin are also outsiders. We are also not immune to a surprise and other names should be highlighted. This is particularly the case of Rennais M'baye Niang (10 goals in 2019-2020) who could well see his statistics increase if ever the Breton club plays the podium again.
