For moments it seemed that this season Antonio Conte was bringing Inter back to the days when there was nothing in world football. But last night (Friday) after the 3-2 loss to Sevilla in the Europa League final, the coach ended a season without titles at Narazzi, and it is highly doubtful whether he will continue for a second season.
Conte did not hide at the end that there was a high chance he would leave his post. "Now we will return to Milan, clear our heads for two or three days, and meet - me and Inter chiefs. We will analyze this season, look at everything more calmly, and try to plan the future of the club - with or without me," he said.

During the interview with the Italian media, Conte appeared to be talking about Inter in the past tense. "I do not know what will happen. We worked hard this season, it was a very difficult season in many respects. We will have to make the best decision for the future of Inter. I have no bitterness towards the club. Yes there are disagreements on some issues, and we will have to examine them. I really enjoyed "To coach Inter. I thank the owner for allowing him to have this wonderful experience."
According to Sky Italy, Inter have already signed the leading candidate to replace Conte: Massimiliano Allegri. Allegri has previously replaced Conte in similar circumstances at Juventus, with the person who was in charge at the time of the appointment being Mouth Maruta, the professional manager of Juventus in the past and of Inter today.
