Duisburg (dpa / lnw) - Borussia Dortmund continues to present itself in good early form. In the first game of the "Cup of Traditions" tournament in Duisburg, the Bundesliga team prevailed over the local MSV with 5: 1 (3: 1).
As in the two previous test matches last week against the Austrian first division clubs Altach (6: 0) and Austria Wien (11: 2), the Favre team had little trouble against the third division club from Duisburg. Giovanni Reyna (12th minute), Thorgan Hazard (14th), Jadon Sancho (26th) and Ansgar Knauff (49th / 60th) ensured the deserved victory. Ahmet Egin (28th) scored for Duisburg.
Immediately afterwards, BVB met Feyenoord Rotterdam. All games in the tournament only last 2x30 minutes.
