Ligue 1: Lens-PSG postponed to September 10

The office of the Professional Football League, which met on Tuesday, granted PSG's request to postpone its matc to September 10.


It had been in the air for a few hours already. It is now official. PSG obtained the postponement, this Tuesday, of its meeting in Lens, initially scheduled for this Saturday at 9 p.m., on behalf of the 2nd day of Ligue 1.

Defeated Sunday in the Champions League final (0-1 against Bayern Munich), the last official match of the 2019-2020 season, the partners of Marquinhos, the new captain after the departure of Thiago Silva, were supposed to start their championship. Due to its presence in the semi-final of the C1, the PSG must also play its first day of L1, scheduled last weekend, September 16 at the Park against Metz. After these two postponements, Paris will start its championship at home on Sunday, September 13 at 9 p.m. against ... Olympique de Marseille, a historic rival, against which it has not known defeat, in all competitions, since November 27 2011 (3-0).
