While PSG is playing its Champions League semi-final this Wednesday evening against Lyon (8 p.m.), a Parisian player has been tested

A few hours away from facing Lyon in the semi-finals of the Champions League in Bilbao, it is an announcement that has raised some concerns around PSG. The Parisian club which had beaten Arsenal on Saturday in the quarter-finals (2-1) revealed this Wednesday afternoon a positive case of Covid-19 among its players. The whole group of Olivier Echouafni had been tested on Tuesday.

"She is currently isolated from the group and will not participate in tonight's meeting in accordance with UEFA protocol," said PSG in a message on his Twitter account.

COVID-19 tests carried out on August 25 in Bilbao revealed that one of the Paris Saint-Germain players is positive for the virus.
The player is currently isolated from the squad and will not take part in tonight's meeting, in accordance with UEFA protocol.

According to our information, the player was isolated from the rest of the group at the hotel, and did not return to Paris. Positive but asymptomatic, she will take a new test this Thursday. But this will not affect the performance of the match. It would not be a holder or a major player of the team.

When training resumed at the end of June, three players (one pro and two U19) had already tested positive.
