Betar owner Moshe Hogg looks angry and upset after the 2-0 loss to the Albanian team, "And today he carried them out.

This is the third time in his career that Roni Levy is losing his job after an embarrassing loss in Europe. In the 2016/17 season, he was eliminated in the second round of the Europa League qualifiers against Noma Calio, and the infamous relegation cost him a job at Maccabi Haifa. Two years later he was eliminated with Famagusta anorthosis in the first round due to foreign goals against Albanian Lachi, and was also fired shortly afterwards.

Levy, 53, began his third term at Betar - which he also coached in 2011 and in the 2013/14 season - in June 2019. He marched the Jerusalemites to a third Toto Cup victory in September of that year after a victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, but lost quite a bit Credit when he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Cup on penalties by Maccabi Petah Tikva, and finished the season in the Premier League in third place.
