Arrival of the quinté: 1 - 9 - 2 - 10 - 11
For the last quinté of the summer meeting on the Côte Fleurie, sixteen aged thoroughbreds competed on the 1,300m course of the fiber-sand track.
The most successful jockeys in the quintés have won their first places in the Sunday event. While they had each won 188 quintés before the event, Stéphane Pasquier and Olivier Peslier composed the winning pair. In their duel, the younger one comes out victorious. Started quickly with Shere Calm (n ° 1), "Pasquito" took the lead with "Magic Peslier" and Contortionist (n ° 9) behind his back. But the second could not really threaten his rival in the final phase, while surely managing to preserve the first runner-up. As for the winner, trained on site by Georges Doleuze, he confirms his great aptitude for the course, on which he won last year at this time.
A good interior finisher, Kanderas (n ° 2) easily takes third place, while Parigote (n ° 10) dominates in the last strides Droit de Parole (n ° 11) to obtain fourth place.
Stéphan Flourent indicated the trifecta out of order.
