The Ministry of Sports will next week present the Minister of Health with an outline for returning the crowd to the courts, the Minister of Culture and Sports said yesterday (Thursday) to the representatives of the fan associations that met with him.
During the meeting, the heads of the fan associations presented the fans' plight and raised a number of models for returning the crowd to the pitches.
The Minister told the participants in the meeting that he had formulated an outline, together with the ministry's staff, which would be presented in the coming days to the Minister of Health, Yuli Edelstein and the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, Professor Itamar Grotto.
In addition, the meeting discussed the issue of support for sports fan groups working in the community, as well as promoting freedom of information and transparency in sports teams and associations.
During the talks, the possibility arose of promoting an appropriate bill that would ensure transparency and proper management of the sports teams.
Apart from the Ministry of Sports, the meeting was attended by representatives of the fan associations - Shai Golov, Uri Gross and Adv. Dor Leond from the stands, the general manager of the Hapoel Haifa basketball team, Ron Feldheim.
