Australian Dominic Tim qualified to the final of the US Open tennis tournament after beating Russia's third seed Daniel Medvedev by 2.6, 7.6 and 7.6, before the tournament final last night.

Reuters reported that with this result, Tim set a date tomorrow in the final match with German Alexander Zverev, who beat Spaniard Pablo Carreño Busta in the semi-final.
