Due to Covid-19, there cannot be more than 5,000 spectators this Sunday to attend the final arrival of the Tour on the Champs


The arrival on the Tour de France on the Champs-Elysées this Sunday will be like the entire Tour since the departure from Nice on August 29: more discreet than usual.

On the most beautiful avenue in the world, the presence of the public will be limited to 5,000 spectators in order to respect health restrictions and social distancing, two golden rules on the Tour route for three weeks.

This of course to try to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

"The device will be that of the red zones", says ASO (Amaury Sport Organization) which organizes the Grande Boucle.

Among the measures adopted: the teams' paddock located near Place de la Concorde will not be accessible and the public will not be allowed to access the part of the final circuit along rue de Rivoli, just before the finish straight. .

Access to the rest of the circuit will be filtered so as not to exceed the gauge.

Remember that the Tour did not have any of its competitors positive during the various tests for the detection of Covid-19.

A Tour that started in Nice, in an area classified as “red” by the authorities.
