Eran Zehavi will very soon become a PSV Eindhoven player.

This morning, the striker of the Israeli national team, accompanied by his agent Ronen Katsav, took off for the Netherlands, in order to finally summarize the terms of the contract and sign for two years in the uniform of the Dutch luxury club.

The one who clicked to sign him is coach Roger Schmidt, who has known Zahavi since he coached in China a few years ago.

In an interview with the Dutch media, he said: "Obviously we are serious about our intentions regarding Zahavi, he is undergoing medical tests tonight."

Zahavi, as mentioned, is expected to sign a two-year contract during which he will earn 1.5 million euros per season.

For him, at 33, this is probably the last chance to get a good contract in the league in Europe.

Peter Boss, who coached Zehavi at Maccabi Tel Aviv, said in an interview in the Netherlands: "He is an excellent striker with a lot of good qualities, and reminds me of Klaas Jan Huntelaar."
