A very hard blow to Maccabi Tel Aviv: six champion players and seven other team members were infected in Corona, two days before the first game against Salzburg in the playoffs of the Champions League.
The players who were found to be blue in the virus are: Yonatan Cohen, Avi Rikan, Daniel Peretz, Enrique Sborit, Nick Blackman, Dor Peretz
The Yellows players conducted the test as required by the UEFA regulations, about 48 hours before the game against the Austrians.
The storm in Kiryat Shalom comes after it was revealed on Thursday that the contact Dan Glazer was positive in a corona examination, which caused him to go into home isolation.
On Friday the results of the other players showed that they were all negative in the last round of tests, but in further tests more patients were discovered besides the connection. At the moment, it is not yet clear whether the game against Salzburg will be held as planned or postponed.
