"Due to the ongoing difficult situation with regard to the corona virus, we are unfortunately forced to cancel the 2020/2021 winter game operation for all leagues in the entire BEV area (BEV, districts and districts)," said President Reinhilde Ulrich .
The cancellation affects all leagues from the 2nd Bundesliga to the lowest district league and all cup competitions.
Hans-Georg Wagner, managing director of the Eisschützenkreis 306 Freising-Erding, considers the decision to be correct, "because the game would be far too dangerous".

Wagner himself is active in the active SpVgg Altenerding, which traditionally organizes several major tournaments.

However, Wagner does not consider the danger that the stick shooters will break away because of the cancellations.
