Luis Suarez leaves Barcelona in tears (from Twitter)
In the middle of the night, Barcelona announced last night (Wednesday) that Luis Suarez, one of the greatest pioneers of all time, is moving to Atletico Madrid after a wonderful six years at the Camp Nou.
Suarez will enter a press conference at 1pm where he will deliver final remarks, and there are sources at Barça who hope the striker will open up and speak out against Bartomeu as Messi did before him.
"Adios Killer", it was written on the cover of the Catalan "El Mundo Deportivo" and the Madrid "Marca" ruled that this is the 9th best in Barça history and wonder how he left for the team's direct rival in the league.
And the truth?
According to Uruguayan numbers this statement is not really unfounded.

Suarez played a total of 283 games in the Blaugrana uniform and scored 198 goals to which he added 109 assists.
Beyond being a great scorer, Suarez also inherited Danny Alves as Messi's greatest scorer, with 47 of the Argentine's goals scored thanks to Suarez's goals - more than any other player.
Suarez was Messi's perfect partner and in six years he climbed to second place in the team's all-time conquerors table lagging just behind Cesar (232) and of course Leo Messi (634).
Suarez has won 13 titles with Barça, including four Spanish championships and once in the Champions League.
Since joining Barcelona in 2014, Suarez has scored more than one player (including Messi) in the Clasico (nine goals).
Suarez's peak season was in 2015/2016 which he finished with no less than 59 goals and 22 assists.
This season he finished with an average of over a goal per game.
Suarez is actually turning his place in Barcelona for Lanso Patti who is expected to be the car player of the season alongside Messi and Griezmann.
