British world champion and overall leader Lewis Hamilton, driver of the Mercedes team, outperformed all of his rivals in the third and final free trials round of the Russian Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship today.
Reuters reported that Hamilton scored the fastest time in the third and final round of one minute and 33.279 seconds, while Finn Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes also finished second, 0.776 seconds behind Hamilton.
After the first nine races of the season, Hamilton is the top driver in the drivers' list, 55 points ahead of his direct chasing Bottas.
