After long weeks of tension between him and the Barcelona management and a constant rumor mill, Leo Messi conveys a conciliatory message.
In an interview with the Catalan "Sport" published in part tonight (Tuesday), the flea disarms and calls on Barcelona to unite around a common goal.
"After so many disputes and disagreements, I want to put an end to everything. All Barcelona fans need to unite and understand that the club's good days are still ahead of him," said Messi.
Messi said: "I take responsibility for my mistakes, if there were any. All I did was to make Barcelona better and stronger. I address everyone in Barcelona who was hurt or offended by something I said. I did not mean it. The good of the club was before my eyes all the time. ".
He added: "Only passion and enthusiasm will bring Barcelona to my goals. We must all be united and strive together to achieve the common goals."

Messi's conciliatory statement comes just over a month after the drama surrounding his stay at Barcelona.
As you may recall, Messi asked to leave the club, but was refused by the club and by the infamous president Joseph Maria Bartomeu, who claimed he was still under contract and could not be released.
Since then Messi has not tried to hide his resentment towards the management, and after the release of Luis Suarez he wrote on Instagram: "You did not deserve to be kicked in this way, but in the current situation I am no longer surprised by anything."
