Of course, the pots and some rules - such as that two teams from the same country are not allowed to meet in the group stage.
From a German perspective,

in the second most important European club competition.
The
VfL Wolfsburg *
did not make it into the group stage.
The Wolves failed in qualification with a 1: 2 in stoppage time at AEK Athens.
