Luis Hernandez signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv for one season with an option for another season, after landing in Israel today (Monday) with the approval of the Ministry of the Interior.

Hernandez will strengthen Maccabi Tel Aviv's defense after it lost Jair Amador this summer.
He also previously played as a right-back, including in the Champions League in the Leicester City uniform four years ago, but is set to serve as a stopper.
He grew up in the Real Madrid youth department, but did not get to wear the Blancos' senior team uniform, recorded four seasons at Sporting Chihun and after a short tenure at Leicester (four Premier League appearances) played three years at Malaga.
He had a total of 91 games in La Liga and 151 in the second division in Spain.
