The Ukrainian Football Association announced the inclusion of retired goalkeeper Oleksandr Shovkovsky in the first team squad.
The federation stated in a statement on its official website today that it decided to include Shuvkovsky, 45, but the friendly team match with France, scheduled to be held this evening, after 3 guards were infected with the Corona virus, stressing that Chofkovsky is in good physical condition, so it will be an option to support the only goalkeeper currently ready, Georgy Puchchan, in the emergency.
Chuvkovsky, who retired in 2016 after playing around 90 caps, is currently assistant coach of the national team, Andrei Shevchenko.
