His name remains marked with that of Auxerre, the club where he was trained.

Under the authority of the iconic Guy Roux, he played in multiple European epics, playing in a semi-final of the UEFA Cup against Dortmund (1993) and winning the Coupe de France (1994) in front of his future club .

He will leave the Burgundy club for that of Montpellier in 1995 where he will put an end to his career four years later.

At the end of his playing career, he joined the national technical management and set up the training of high-level goalkeepers until 2013. Holder of a coaching diploma, he also ensured alongside Pascal Baills a short interim at the head of the Montpellier team, after the resignation of Rolland Courbis in December 2015 and before the appointment of Frédéric Hantz.
