The Minister Delegate for Sports Roxana Maracineanu on Friday ruled out on France Info an exemption from the curfew, introduced at 9 p.m. in Ile-de-France and in eight metropolises strongly affected by Covid-19, for amateur athletes.
"We must be responsible in this situation, we must come in very strong support to the medical staff and to the people who will (be) and who are already sick with the coronavirus and who are in hospitals," said Maracineanu, asked about an easing a curfew similar to that in favor of cultural places pleaded by Minister Roselyne Bachelot.
