We controlled the game well in the first half and had chances too. ”The pullachers had their best opportunity to increase their lead in the 22nd minute when Nureddin El Sayed hit a nice diagonal ball on Mert Yildiz, which penetrated the penalty area and crossed, but Martin Bauer was a touch too late.
After the change, however, the favorite pushed vehemently for the equalizer.
“We came under more and more pressure.
But with the quality of the Pipinsried, it is of course clear that they can build up brutal pressure, ”said Bäumel.
The SVP defense, which was now heavily demanded, withstood the onslaught, however, and keeper Marijan Krasnic rarely had to intervene.
“He was there for one or two actions.
And in the 71st minute we were really lucky that the ball hit the crossbar, ”confessed Bäumel.
Benjamin Kauffmann chased the ball to the aluminum after a remarkable attack by the home side via ex-Pullachers Daniel Leugner and Marvin Jike.
On the other hand, the big Pipinsried offensive also gave the guests their opportunities.
“Of course we then had rooms, but we didn't bring the actions to a quiet end,” said Bäumel.
First the ravens left a promising outnumbered situation unused, and when keeper Oberwahrenbrock had gone forward with them, Christian Doll only narrowly missed the orphaned case from a distance.
“We could have put the lid on earlier,” said Bäumel, but when the four minutes of stoppage time were still undamaged, he and the team were able to cheer uninhibitedly.
