English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion announced today that they have signed striker Danny Welbeck for a one-year free transfer.
Watford and Welbeck gave up 29 years after their relegation from the English Premier League last season.
Wellbeck, who has suffered a lot of injuries during his professional career, has previously played for Manchester United and Arsenal.
Despite the closure of the summer transfers at the local and international levels, players not affiliated with clubs are allowed to join any teams at any time.
Welbeck played 42 international matches for the England national team, scoring 16 goals, but he has not played for the national team since 2018 due to his suffering from a series of injuries.
