Mario Götze scored a direct goal in his first game for PSV Eindhoven.

The former international played in the game at PEC Zwolle from the start and anticipated a short back pass from Zwolle's Clint Leemans in the early stages.

With the first contact, Götze put the ball technically strong to goalkeeper Michael Zetterer and pushed in for the lead (9th minute).

Eindhoven won 3-0 (3-0), the other goals were scored by Cody Gakpo (18th) and Donyell Malen (39th).

The Eindhoven coached by Roger Schmidt dominated the game.

Philipp Max prepared the second goal with a low cross, which Gakpo only had to insert (18th).

Goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo parried a weak penalty from Reza Ghoochannejhad (30 ').

After a switching situation, Malen scored the decision with a shot from around 20 meters before the break (39th).

The strong Zetterer prevented further goals, the goalkeeper is still on loan from Werder Bremen until the end of the season.

Eindhoven's team is peppered with former Bundesliga professionals, including Max from Augsburg and Mvogo from Leipzig to the south of the Netherlands in the summer.

Above all, Götze's commitment caused a stir, the 28-year-old's contract with Borussia Dortmund had expired.

After his goal, Götze remained largely unremarkable, in the 67th minute he was replaced.
