Los Angeles Lakers players celebrate NBA championship (from the Lakers' Twitter account)
After winning a fourth career career and taking another step on the path to the title of the best basketball player of all time, LeBron James is turning to his side occupation: politics.
This morning (Sunday) it was announced in the United States that the Lakers star, one of the leaders of the More Than A Vote project, which aims to raise the turnout among blacks ahead of the November presidential election, joins forces with another social activist, Michelle Obama.
Obama founded a movement with a similar goal, When We All Vote, and is now collaborating with the Lakers star in the latest line of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's election campaign.
The two will organize mass events in major cities across the United States to encourage voting among blacks in the presidential ballot.

And while LeBron continues to care about the political interests of the black community, there are also those who dislike his actions off the floor.
One of them is EFC fighter Colby Covington, an avid and famous supporter of Donald Trump, who has sharply criticized LeBron on numerous occasions.
Last night he provoked another provocation when he uploaded to his Instagram a picture in which he is wearing a yellow-purple tank top of the so-called Lakers, with the caption, "Puck LeBron" on it.
"Congratulations to LeBron James on the championship, and congratulations on getting the NBA Finals the lowest rating in history," said Covington, who previously invited James to the ring and promised to subdue him "in less than 10 seconds."
"When everyone's sick, you talk bullshit. And as NBA ratings plummet, UFC ratings soar - just like your bank account."

But the NBA continues to engage with LeBron's legacy as a basketball player.
Chris Bush, who collaborated with LeBron in Miami and won two championships with him, spoke last night about his unique work ethic that began many years ago.
"I saw all the things he does behind the scenes, all the work he puts in every day even before he dribbles a ball. He just knows what needs to be done to win games, how to get better. But the most important thing is that he understands how to stay healthy. Seeing him get ready For so many years, even before they said he was the best player in the world, or the best of all time, it's just wonderful. "
Bush claims that "LeBron pushed me to be a better basketball player and a better professional just by being there by my side. He made me re-examine my habits, and only thanks to him did I understand what and how much I needed to change if I wanted them to start taking me seriously in the league."
Bush also explains that "even when it comes to creating chemistry in a team, he is second to none. He knows how to connect with players, how to build a team. I have never seen anything like it."
