An unpleasant incident during the game between Manchester City and Arsenal yesterday (Saturday), in which the Blues managed to win 0: 1 from a goal by Rahim Sterling in the 23rd minute.

Sergio Aguero placed his hand disrespectfully on the line after the latter signed on the outside in favor of Arsenal and he thought the ball should have been his.

Referee Sean Macy Alice pushed the Argentine's hand over her and she did not seem to accept this gesture well.

The touch was short as Macy Alice resisted, but even so Aguero could have been punished for him in yellow and maybe even in red.

Four years ago, in 2016, the Premier League announced a change in the constitution that allows referees to draw cards in case of contact on the part of the players.

British journalist Pierce Morgan, who is also a die-hard Arsenal fan, tweeted the video and wrote: "Umm what is Aguero doing here? And why was he not sent off because of it?".

The one who defended Aguero was his coach Pep Guardiola, who said when asked about the incident: "Come on guys, Sergio is the nicest man I've ever known in my life. Look for problems in other cases, not this one."

City striker Rahim Sterling spoke after the game and said: "We lost points at the start of the season so it was important to win. We knew we would have to provide a good display after the national team backlog. The result of course adds to our confidence."

On his goal the Englishman said: "I felt I was a bit lucky to score. It was not one of my best games, but I'm glad I was able to help the team."

On Sergio Aguero's return from injury he said: "In the first half Sergio and I managed to produce dangerous things. I felt our game was much more smooth and we managed to keep the ball. It was great to play alongside a real striker. It was hard for us to break Arsenal because they are a trained team. "That made it difficult for us. We achieved the victory rightly. When Sergio was on the grass, you know that there can be a goal at any moment. It is very important that he returns."
