From the Tottenham training center, the former PSG striker has agreed to discuss with us the news of his compatriots Brazil

Tottenham and PSG have one thing in common.

In recent weeks, the unfortunate finalists of the 2019 and 2020 Champions League have been featured on the Amazon Prime video platform in two documentaries.

In this context, Lucas, a Spurs striker who spent many years in Paris, gave us an interview of a few minutes to discuss his role in the documentary series, as well as Parisian news and his Brazilian friends.

What did you think of the first episodes of the series on Tottenham?

LUCAS.

I am very, very happy with the result.

The series is magnificent, very interesting for the public and the supporters.

Often they don't know what's going on in the club, internally, every day in training, in the locker room.

This aspect is interesting for the supporters.

It was really a good job.

Wasn't it too hard to live with the camera all the time?

The first few days, the first week, if that was difficult (laughs).

There are a lot of cameras, microphones… You stay a little on your guard, take it easy, you don't want to talk too much.

But then you quickly forget all that.

After the first week, I managed to be more relaxed.

Which Lucas do we see in the documentary?

(Laughs) Whoever I am every day!

Always happy, with a smile, joking.

I always give my best on the pitch to win.

I am a real competitor, I want to win all the time.

This is also why we see in an episode that I get confused with Serge (

Editor's note: Aurier, his former PSG teammate, also

).

But it's part of football.

I really think the fans will see me for who I am.

Have you seen the documentary dedicated to PSG, also released this summer?

Not yet !

But I'll watch it.

It will be funny to see my former teammates, the Brazilians in particular.

We see in particular the transfer of powers between Thiago Silva and Marquinhos.

Will he make a good captain?

Yes.

He's a great, great advocate.

He is also a great person, a leader in the locker room, who commands his respect.

He's a beautiful guy, he's my brother, eh!

He deserves this captain status and I am very happy for him.

A Champions League final for you, a final for him… Now you have to win it, right?

(Laughs) It's true.

A final on each side.

I'm happy to have reached the final with Tottenham.

I am also for Paris and my friends.

There is still time to win this competition.

The most important thing is to believe in it and to give the best.

Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani join you in England.

Will they succeed?

I am happy for Thiago.

He's closer to me here in London.

I'm happy for him, he's one of the best defenders in the world, I've always said that.

He plays in a great team.

For him and for Cavani too, it will undoubtedly be even more difficult to play in the Premier League.

There are a lot of great players.

And I hope to find Marqui again one day (laughs)!

In Manchester as in Paris, Cavani is eagerly awaited

You came into play in the 6-1 inflicted by Tottenham on Manchester United on October 4.

What did you think of this Mancunian team, which plays Tuesday at the Parc des Princes?

It's a very good team despite the score.

She has very great players.

Manchester remains Manchester.

For Paris, you have to look at the course of the last seasons.

PSG have become one of the best teams in the world.

The game will be very interesting.

I'll be home with popcorn watching (laughs).

A great match like this is eagerly awaited.

How do you see Neymar?

It seems to have matured again this year ...

He's improving every season, yes.

He's an impressive player.

He started his career almost at the top but he continues to achieve great things.

He's a top player.

Paris is very lucky to have Neymar.

It is sure that he will help again this season, that he wants to win the Champions League with PSG.

There is nothing more to say.

Do you quickly hope for a PSG-Tottenham in the Champions League (Editor's note: the Spurs are not qualified this season)?

It will be difficult quickly ... But I would be happy to see my former teammates, my friends, return to the Parc des Princes one day.

I still have a lot of feelings with PSG.
