A day before the game in the first round against Atletico Madrid (Wednesday, 22:00) in the home stage of the Champions League, Bayern Munich announced tonight (Tuesday) that Serge Genabri is positive for the Corona virus and will probably be absent from the match.
It was also reported that as usual, the European champions' attacking player went into home isolation and the encouraging point is that Gnabri does not suffer from symptoms of the deceptive disease.
It should be noted that in addition to Gnabri's absence, Leroy Sane, who is still recovering from injury, will not be available for the Enzy Flick in the Bavarians' opening game.
Even before the club's dramatic announcement, Enzy Flick spoke at the press conference: "I am very pleased with the momentum we are in. We have had a lot of time to train since winning the league on Saturday, but opening against Atletico is always something serious."
Serge Gnabry has tested positive for Covid-19.
He is doing well and is currently in quarantine.
