Regional soccer team Kickers Offenbach has had success with the Darmstadt Administrative Court with the application for an injunction against the exclusion of spectators from home games.
"The injunction issued by the city of Offenbach was withdrawn, so that at least 100 spectators are allowed to attend today's game," announced the club shortly before the game kicked off on Tuesday evening against FC Gießen.
The court will decide in a judgment whether the Hesse-wide corona regulation applies in Offenbach, according to which at least 250 spectators can be admitted to events, it said.
First the "Offenbach-Post" reported on the legal proceedings.
"We are against a complete exclusion," said OFC managing director Thomas Sobotzik, but at the same time made it clear: "This is not an attack on anyone. It is good for the city of Offenbach, the health department as well as us if a judge decides whether a complete exclusion is lawful. "
